DECEMBER EVENTS AT HOLY ADVENT
Join Us for Our Weekly Services:
Advent IV - Sunday, December 18th at 10 am - Morning Prayer, Rite II
Sunday, December 11th at 2 pm: Blue Holidays
Blue Holidays is a service of worship for those of us who are suffering with pain, loss, isolation, and grief throughout this holiday season. We remember that for many the holidays may not be joyful, but are instead lonely and sad. If this is how you are feeling - or know of someone who is - please join us. This service is open to all persons; you don't need to be a person of faith to attend. Although this is an Episcopal church, the service is non-denominational and not only for those who identify as Christian. There is no cost, and the entire service is approximately 30 minutes in length.
Sunday, December 11th at 5 pm: Candlelight Lessons & Carols
The service Lessons & Carols is that of Kings College, Cambridge University. It is a mixture of scripture readings and carols of the season, all in candlelight. If this is your favorite season of the year and you love to sing, this service is for you! Come as you are, listen to nine of the best-known lessons in scripture, alternated with the best-loved and known hymns of the season. There is no cost, and more than ample parking in our lot.
CHRISTMAS EVE
Saturday, December 24th at 5 pm - Pageant from the Pews, the Holy Eucharist, Rite II, with with the carols and hymns of the season. This is a great service for folks of all ages. All are welcome!
